Beautiful home 150 ft from Beach with Private Pool

Welcome to Fort Morgan Seaside, a newly built 5-bedrooms/5.5-baths beach home with a private-pool, and only a few steps from our private beach access. Ideally situated, this almost-gulf-front home with its good-size pool, and spectacular views is the perfect setting to enjoy a relaxing vacation getaway with your family or friends. We are located in a unique private beachfront community in a special place called Fort Morgan AL, which is famous for its uncrowded beaches, undeveloped natural coastal beauty, and a quiet peaceful atmosphere. The home is located in a beach-front community that has extra-large private lots and plenty of side streets for jogging, biking, skate-boarding, or golf cart rides. Our home sleeps up to 12 adults comfortably or 8 adults and 5 children. Unwind and relax as you take in the panoramic views of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and enjoy the uncrowded white sand beach.

Spectacular Views

Top Floor

The top level has a large open living dining area opening onto the full-width deck to enjoy panoramic gulf views, morning coffee, beautiful sunsets/sunrises, and open starry skies! The living area has plenty of comfortable seating for everyone to enjoy fun conversations.  Local artists created much of the coastal furnishings and art. The dining area  has room for the whole gang to enjoy family meals or a board game with beautiful gulf views in the background. The fully equipped kitchen has all the new appliances and cookware that you need for meal preparation. The convenient half bath has a fun coastal decor. There is also a queen master suite with a recliner rocker and a private bath with a large glass-enclosed rain shower. Additional amenities include high-speed wireless internet, 6 cable TVs, and an assortment of board games and books. The bedrooms and baths have sound insulated walls for extra privacy. We designed our home to spend time together with all of our grown children and grand-children while giving everyone their privacy.

Four Coastal Bedrooms all with Private Baths

First Floor

The First level has 4 bedrooms each with a private bath. The two beach-front bedrooms have awesome views of the gulf. The SW bedroom has a queen bed, comfortable chair and an ottoman. Its private bathroom has a large vanity and a glass-enclosed rain shower. The SE gulf view bedroom has 2 double beds and its private bath has a glass-enclosed shower with views of the gulf. The NE bedroom has a queen bed, a comfortable glider chair. Its private bath also has a tile glass-enclosed shower and ample counter space. The NW bedroom or kids room has two full-size built-in bunk beds with stairs to the top twin bunks. There is a junior size (63” long by 30” wide) day bed with a trundle if needed for the little ones. The Kid's room also has a table and chairs and a tub shower combo bathroom. The Kids room window has a black out shade. A full-sized washer and dryer are conveniently located on the first level.  The bedrooms and baths walls all have sound insulation for extra privacy. There is also sound insulation between the first and second floor, as well as in the stairway.

Ground Floor Entrance and Private Pool

The Ground Floor entrance includes an extra refrigerator/freezer and storage room for chairs, pool/beach toys, etc. Conveniently located behind the home is a good-size in-ground pool and plenty of seating. The pool has a tanning shelf or baby area and full stairs to the shallow 3-foot area then sloping to 5-feet. Enjoy a night swim with spectacular in-pool lighting. A hot/cold poolside shower is conveniently located, as well as a foot hose near the front door, great for sand removal. Parking is both under the house and on the 3 car parking pad and double driveway. Our neighborhood private beach access/entrance is a few steps away. Use the beach wagon to transport beach chairs, coolers, and toys over the white sand.

The Beach

Our home sits less than 150 from the beautiful white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.  Enjoy walking or relaxing on our uncrowded beautiful white sand beaches where you can walk 7 miles to the end of Fort Morgan, past the historic shipwreck all the way to the Fort.  On a typical day, you will spot dauphins, great blue herons, and other interesting sites.  One of the most unforgettable experiences is witnessing a sea turtle hatching.

Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is a well-kept secret with its beautiful white sand beaches without the crowds where you can enjoy the sunrises and sunsets from almost anywhere. Surrounded by natural habitats in Fort Morgan you will see great blue herons, egrets, pelicans, turtles, dolphins, and much other wildlife – truly a unique coastal area like non-other on the gulf.

Attractions & Activities

The Alabama coastal area has many great attractions for your entire family, fun shopping, and a variety of entertainment including golf, para-sailing, kayaking, fishing, boating, etc. Gulf Shores is a 15-20-minute drive away and has many family attractions including a new zoo, miniature golf, water slides, race cars, amusement parks arcades, and many more.

We have many great restaurants along the Alabama Coast. In Fort Morgan we have the sought after Jessies Restaurant, The Sassy Bass Amazing Grill, Kiva Grill, The Coast Restaurant, Behind the Pines, Sassy Bass Island Grill, Village Hideaway, The Village Food Trucks, Fort Morgan Piazza, and Tacky Jacks. A little farther away in Gulf Shores and Orange beach there are many great restaurants including several at the Orange Beach Wharf, Lulus, the hangout and many more.

What a great beach vacation spot.  Loved the house!  It was perfect for the whole family.  Very well designed.  It was so close to the beach we were almost beach-front.  Then the private beach access being less than a minute walk was so convenient.   The kids enjoyed the pool  - plenty of room - not a tiny pool.    We enjoyed all the great local restaurants, especially Sassy Bass.  It was such a short drive into Gulf Shores where we spent an afternoon at some of the family fun spots.  The internet was high speed especially important to our 12 year old son!

What a great beach house and location!  We came with a group of friends and all our kid.   With only steps to the beach we could easily go back and forth to the house, especially needed with little ones.   Also the pool was perfect for all the kids being different ages.   We had so much fun together and appreciated having private bathrooms.  We loved the uncrowded beach especially with COVID concerns.  The trip to Gulf Shores kids places was simple.  What an ideal vacation spot.

I loved the both the house and location.   I was able to walk the beach for hours and totally unwind - very few people.  The house decor was totally calming and beautiful.  The views were amazing, especially the sunset, indescribable.   A real treat for me was watching the Blue Angels practice for hours right over the house.  I was screaming like I was at an airshow.   This has been one of the most relaxing vacations I have had in a long time.

Make a Reservation

Booking

Make a reservation directly  with us or  book our home through a vacation booking site  (VRBO) .   To accept a booking we require a signed booking agreement/contract that we will email to you.

Payments

We accept personal checks or credit cards.  If paying by Credit Card we will send you an invoice that will take you to a secure site for processing.   However, we will have to add the credit card processing fee of 3% to the total cost.  

A 20% booking deposit at the time of booking  is required to hold your reservation.  At 45 days prior to your checkin date your final payment or  the remaining 80% is due.   We also require a separate 100% refundable $500 damage deposit due at least 21 days prior to check-in.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount you've paid. If you cancel between 30 and 60 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise,  you will not get a refund.
