Fort Morgan

Fort Morgan is known for its national historic fort, a 6,000-acre wildlife refuge, and the Dauphin Island Ferry to the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. The natural vegetation and wild-life is amazing, especially the sea turtles and dauphins.  You can also enjoy bird-watching, charter fishing, golfing at world-class courses (Kiva Dunes next to Surfside Shores), offshore fishing, kayaking, biking, exploring the fort, shelling, ocean swimming, or simply relaxing enjoying this secluded paradise. Fort Morgan has several great restaurants offering fresh seafood, burgers, pizza, along with several stores that have beach items, food, and necessities. Another unique attraction are the Blue Angles who often practice over Fort Morgan.
